Hi, I’m Luca!

My name is Peter Luca Versteegen, but you don’t need to say “Mr. Versteegen” unless you’re in Germany, and you don’t need to say “Peter” unless you’re the state. So just call me Luca.

I’m a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg. Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department Government, University of Vienna. I obtained a PhD in Political Science from the University of Gothenburg in June 2024. Before, I obtained a Research Master’s in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Tilburg University (the Netherlands) and a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Hamburg (Germany).
